Our Honorary Chairman of the Board, the late Ahmet EMMİOĞLU, started working in the marble sector in 1986 with his brothers Mehmet and İbrahim EMMİOĞLU. He officially entered the mining sector with marble quarry operations in 1998. Metfamer, which took its place in the sector by leaving Fimar Holding, one of the leading companies in Turkey where he was a company partner, is a new company that aims to carry the quality service policy and development-oriented management approach left behind by our Honorary Chairman to the highest levels. Operating out of Sivas, Metfamer serves its national and international customers with its many quarries and factories, as well as its operations in tourism, oil, and energy, with its over three hundred and fifty employees and expert staff.
Metfamer Mining Industry Trade Inc., one of the leading companies in its field in Turkey, is a well-established company in terms of corporate and business line experience, but a new and young organization in terms of formation. In our main business line, mining, especially in block marble production and sized marble processing, our successes have enabled us to make a name for ourselves in both the Turkish and global competitive arenas. Our company aims to carry our corporate principles and quality approach to many business lines to ensure this success in our ventures in other business lines as well. With our other enterprises and initiatives within Metfamer, especially Erdemli Marble Quarry, Silifke Marble Factory, and Amasya Fimar Life Thermal Resort Hotel, we aim to provide nature and human-oriented, principled, and quality service to our country and our customers.
